About Us
St. Paul’s Syriac Orthodox Church is a vibrant community of faith, deeply rooted in the ancient traditions of the Syriac Orthodox Church, one of the earliest Christian communities in history. Our parish is part of the Malankara Archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox Church in North America, a spiritual jurisdiction under the Apostolic See of Antioch.
The Syriac Orthodox Church traces its origins to 33 AD when St. Peter the Apostle established the church in Antioch, making it one of the oldest Christian communities. It was in Antioch that the disciples of Jesus were first called Christians (Acts 11:26). This sacred heritage is central to our identity as a church, where the faith of the early apostles continues to thrive.

Mission Statement
To glorify God by celebrating the sacred liturgy, teaching the Gospel and the wisdom of the early Church Fathers, and nurturing a life centered in Christ. Guided by the Orthodox faith, we strive to share Christ’s love through acts of compassion, such as visiting the sick, comforting the grieving, helping those in need, strengthening families, and building a supportive community. By serving both the spiritual and practical needs of others, we aim to lead our congregation toward deeper faith, unity, and a life filled with God’s grace.
Vision Statement
To raise a faithful generation that is deeply rooted in Orthodox tradition, living the Gospel in love and unity while witnessing Christ in every aspect of life. We aspire to cultivate moral integrity, sacrificial love, and authentic relationships, fostering a community that reflects the light of Christ in the modern world. Our vision is for all to live a life of joy and purpose on Earth, while preparing their hearts for eternal salvation in the Kingdom of God.
